BYD has been a pioneering name in the battery industry for more than 28 years. Our latest game-changing Blade Battery has passed a series of extreme tests in rigorous conditions, making it one of the world’s safest batteries.

High speed fast charging

The BYD DOLPHIN is equipped as a standard with a high voltage-boost charging solution which allows for faster charging.

In 29 minutes, the battery can be charged from 30 per cent to 80 per cent with DC capacity of 150kW.

High efficiency heat pump as a standard

The high efficiency heat pump optimise efficiency and range in a broad range of temperatures and weather conditions.

This allows for the efficient regulation of the battery temperature via direct cooling and direct heating of the refrigerant, increasing thermal efficiency by up to 20 per cent while reducing energy loss.

The heat pump can withstand temperatures ranging from minus 30 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius, and can increase the range by up to 20 per cent in winter conditions.
